Testing

Part of your consultation includes a review of previous pathology tests obtained through the GP, and part of my process is sending you a letter for your GP or Specialists with any tests that I feel are relevant to your personal health puzzle.

Where possible, I ask that you include your GP or specialist as some pathology tests are covered by Medicare when you are referred by a GP, and they can be justified according to the criteria outlined by Medicare. Sometimes this doesn’t cover all the tests required and you may need to pay for tests requested. This is always done in concert with your GP or Specialist.

Genetic Testing for Wellness is not covered by health cover or Medicare and is completely optional. DUTCH testing provides far more comprehensive hormone testing than blood tests. Recommended testing will be specific to the individual.
